Eagle Micro Systems was founded and is owned by Kobus Roux. Originally established in 1992, Eagle Micro Systems has more than 28 years' experience in the electronic engineering industry. Our company is mainly an Electronic Manufacturing Services company, assembling surface mount technology (SMT) circuit boards, conventional thru-hole technology (THT) circuit boards and complete assembled electronic products.
Over the years we have come to realise that our clients are often frustrated with their projects and designs not taking flight. As a result we have developed our passion and mission for "Bringing Projects to Life" not wanting our client's projects to fade away. As part of our services to our clients we provide full electronic development with schematic capture, PCB layout, SMD prototyping, microcontroller programming and custom made enclosures and faceplates. Once a project is in final production we procure all components ourselves as far as possible to deliver a turnkey solution to our client.
Eagle Micro Systems is also involved in the manufacturing and supply of SCADA equipment panels and various other Automatic Meter Reading equipment panels with Intrinsic Safe circuits for the local and international gas industries for a number of years. As a result of our involvement with clients in this industry, we are also providing technical backup and repair services for the imported electronic instrumentation used in this industry.
As an added service Eagle Micro Systems further offers contract maintenance and a repetitive repair service to industrial electronic circuit boards.
